President Dr Arif Alvi has urged the industrialists, traders and businessmen to take benefits of modern information and technology modes to enhance their enterprises and giving a boost to the economy.
He was addressing a ceremony in Islamabad.
He said use of technology, transparency and digitalization of economy could resolve numerous issues faced by the businessmen and traders.
The President said facilities are being ensured for the businessmen to ease doing business in the country.
He also underlined the enhanced women’s representation in all fields including the businesses and industries.
Arif Alvi said exports of the country are rapidly increasing and imports are decreasing due to the effective measures of the government.
He also pledged that war against corruption and corrupt practices and indiscriminate accountability should be continued in future.
Meanwhile, President Dr Arif Alvi has endorsed Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad’s proposal for a joint venture between Malaysia, Turkey and Pakistan to unite the Muslim world.
In an exclusive interview with Anadolu Agency in Islamabad, he said three big Muslim countries could play a big role not only for peace but at the same time for a joint venture for development in the Muslim world.
He said Turkey is playing a major role around its border in Syria and trying to achieve peace. There will be a major rebuilding in the Middle East and Afghanistan when complete peace in restored.
About the Kashmir issue, President said the pattern of Gujarat riots continued in the Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and Assam.
He also thanked the Turkish government and people of Turkey for their support on Kashmir issue.
