Addressing at the event of National Minority day titled “One land, one flag & one nation” hosted at the Aiwan-i-Sadr in the federal capital, PM said that converting minority groups by means of coercion and threat is totally against the Islamic teachings and law.

“Whoever does this has no knowledge either of Islamic history or the Quran and Sunnah,” Khan added.

PM Khan also said that the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is a paradigm for the entire humanity and for Muslims a perfect road map to follow till the judgement day.

“Prophet (PBUH) had always given a lesson of respecting humanity. He himself had given minorities religious freedom and protected their places of worship,” Khan further said.

Prime Minister Imran Khan said all problems of Pakistan could be solved if the country followed this model of Medina where all religious minorities enjoyed equal rights.

“We will protect the worship places of all religions and will change the mindset of people in line with Islamic injunctions,” PM said.

Representatives of different communities including Christians, Hindus, Sikhs were in great attendance.
