Majyd Aziz, President Employers Federation of Pakistan, will represent Pakistani employers at the International Labor Conference of ILO in Geneva. This is the Centenary Year of ILO where many Presidents and Prime Ministers will address the Conference. Majyd Aziz will also present the Pakistan Employers’ position on the Report of Director General ILO on the Future of Work at the Plenary Session.
This year for the first time, a President’s Forum for Presidents of Employers Organizations would be held on the sidelines for two days where Mr Klaus Schwab, Founder World Economic Forum, Mr Antonio Vitorino, Director General International Organization for Migration, Mr Roberto Azevedo, Director General World Trade Organization, Ms Michelle Bachelet, United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Mr Guy Ryder, Director General International Labor Organization, Mr Erol Kiresepi, President International Organization of Employers, etc will speak on various issues.
Majyd Aziz, who is also President of South Asian Forum of Employers will chair a meeting of representatives of Employers Organizations from South Asia region where Director General and executives of Dutch Employers Cooperation Programme would also attend.
Majyd Aziz, who is also on the Executive Committee of Confederation of Asia Pacific Employers, will attend the Annual Meetings of CAPE and General Body.
Majyd Aziz is also expected to sign MOUs between Employers Federation of Pakistan and other Employers’ Organizations.
During his absence, Zaki Ahmed Khan, Vice President EFP, will be the Acting President while Ismail Suttar will assist him as Acting Vice President.
