ورلڈکپ2019 فائنل: آخری اوور میں غلطی ہو گئی تھی
کرکٹ مطابق اوور تھرو سے ہونے والی باؤنڈری کے اضافی رنز دینے کے لیے یہ دیکھا جاتا ہے کہ تھرو ہوتے وقت (یعنی فیلڈر کے ہاتھ سے بال نکلتے وقت) بلے باز کتنے رنز کی کراسنگ مکمل کرچکے تھے۔
اختتامی میچ کے آخری اوور میں نیوزی لینڈ کے کھلاڑی نے جب گیند پھینکی تو انگلینڈ کے بلے بازوں نے ایک ہی رن مکمل کیا تھا اور دوسرے رن کی کراسنگ نہ ہوئی تھی۔
آئی سی سی قوانین کے مطابق انگلینڈ کو 6 نہیں 5 رنز ملنے چاہیے تھے اورگیند بازی کا سامنا بین سٹوک کی بجائے راشد کو کرنا چاہیے تھا۔
سری لنکا سے تعلق رکھنے والے فیلڈ ایمپائر دھرما سینا نے کہا کہ میرے پاس ویڈیو دوبارہ دیکھنے کی سہولت موجود نہیں تھی جس سے معلوم ہوتا کہ دوسرے رنز کے کراسنگ مکمل ہوئی یا نہیں، لہذا میں نے ساتھی امپائر کی مشاورت سے فیصلہ دیا۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ میں وائرلیس پر ساتھی ایمپائر سے بات کی تھی اور یہ گفتگو میدان سے باہر بیٹھے دیگر ایمپائرز بھی سن رہے تھے۔ دھرما سینا نے کہا کہ انہوں نے فیصلہ دیگر ساتھیوں کی مشاورت سے دیا تھا۔
اس موقع پر انگلینڈ کو جیت کے لیے نو رنز درکار تھے جبکہ اس کے پاس صرف چار گیندیں ہی تھیں۔ اسٹوکس نے ٹرینٹ بولٹ کی گیند کو باؤنڈری کے پار بھیجنے کی کوشش کی مگر مارٹن گپٹل نے گیند کو روک لیا۔
بین اسٹوکس نے بھاگ کر دو رنز لینے کی کوشش کی اور گپٹل نے اسٹوکس کو براہ راست ہٹ پر رن آؤٹ کرنے کے لیے تھرو کی۔ اسٹوکس نے رن آؤٹ سے بچنے کے لیے چھلانگ لگادی اور گیند ان کے بلے سے لگ کے باؤنڈری سے باہر چلی گئی۔
آن فیلڈ امپائر نے انگلینڈ کو چھ رنز دے دیے جس کے بعد دو آؤٹ ہونے کے باوجود بھی میچ ٹائی ہو گیا۔ دھرما سینا کی غلطی سے انگلینڈ اور نیوزی لینڈ کے درمیان ہونے والا فائنل بغیر کسی نتیجے کے ختم کے ہوگیا تھا۔
سابق آئی سی سی امپائر سائمن ٹوفل نے بھی کہا تھا کہ فائنل میچ میں انگلینڈ کو چھ رنز ملنا غلط امپائرنگ کا نتیجہ ہے اور قوانین کے مطابق میزبان ٹیم کو پانچ رنز ملنے چاہیے تھے۔
