ذرائع کے مطابق انتہا پسند بھارتی حکومت نے لداخ ڈیم کے پانچ میں سے تین سپل ویز کھول دیئے جس کی وجہ سے دریائے سندھ اور ستلج میں سیلاب کا خدشہ ہے۔
ذرائع نے بتایا ہے کہ دریائےستلج میں پانی چھوڑنے سے گنڈا سنگھ کے مقام پرپانی کابڑاریلاآج دن 11 بجے گزرےگا۔
نیشنل ڈیزاسٹرمینیجمنٹ اتھارٹی پاکستان(این ڈی ایم اے) نے الرٹ جاری کر دیا ہے۔ بھارت کی آبی جارحیت کے باعث دریائےستلج میں پانی کی سطح بلند ہونے سے ہزاروں ایکڑ زمین اور سینکڑوں دیہات متاثر ہونے کا خدشہ ہے۔
دوسری جانب پی ڈی ایم اے نے متعلقہ اداروں کو الرٹ رہنے کی ہدایت کرتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ دریائےستلج کے کنارے سےلوگوں کاانخلایقینی بنایاجائے۔
وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب عثمان بزدار نے بھی چیف سیکریٹری اور ڈی جی پی ڈی ایم اے کو اس ضمن میں ضروری ہدایات جاری کر دیں ہیں۔
