Imran Khan should not instigate Judiciocracy – Hashmat Habib

Judicial interference in the modus operandi fundamental to force Imran Khan to quit would be wastage of time. However the more important issue for judiciary is Liaquat pur 7up Tazegam disaster which lost 74 lives. Hashmat Habib President Tehreek-e-Tahafuz-e-Adlia viewing the Govt decision to challenge opposition’s statement for arrest of Imran Khan said it was a surprise.

He said the Govt will commit a blunder by attracting Supreme Court attention because Maulana Fazul ur Rehman’s statement is not a threat which attracts penal action. In fact this is part of strategy of the dharna and Azadi march.

Hashmat Habib said previously Supreme Court had acted as a Judiciocracy for specific purposes which have brought the nation to the brink of disaster. Presently Chief Justice Pakistan Asif Khosa is avoiding taking any suo motto action if any such action is taken then all the disputed judgments may be revisited leading to force Imran Khan to quit.

The most crucial issue is Pakistan Railways’ incidents on increase; therefore the Court may conduct a thorough investigation to save passengers from killings and remove the responsible, the senior lawyer added۔
