Islamabad: Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto said that it was a disgrace that Prime Minister, Imran Khan could not handle “even slightest bit of opposition”.
Speaking on National Assembly (NA) floor, he urged NA Speaker, Asad Qaiser to issue production orders for Ali Wazir and Mohsin Dawar.
“There is no freedom in Naya Pakistan. Journalists, NA members everyone is suffering from censorship,” he added.
“Because of PM’s ego, you have banned word selected in NA. What sort of democracy is this that members of NA are not allowed to say certain words,” he asked.
He reiterated that they would not accept media or political censorship.
He said that three provinces have suffered from a cut in their budgets.
“Government-IMF budget shows that government has surrendered. PM made too many promises and average Pakistanis are paying price for their incompetence.”
He accepted that PTI inherited an economy which was in bad condition, but claims federal government has led economy to go from “bad to worse”.
He asked government to take back decision of induction of Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Qamar Javed Bajwa in Development Council because ‘it hurts credibility of all institutions’.
