SSGC removes illegal connections during raids

Karachi: Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) in raids removed several illegal gas connections in Karachi, Hyderabad and Larkana, spokesperson of utility informed.
Task Force of SSGC’s Customer Relations Department in an operation raided Bismillah Centre and surrounding areas and disconnected illegal connections of 55 apartments and 37 houses.
In another raid task force removed illegal connections of 136 apartments in a nearby area. The team removed all rubber pipes and fittings.

Meanwhile in Hyderabad, Security Services and Counter Gas Theft Operations Department (SS and CGTO) in raids disconnected three illegal connections. Total connected load was estimated to be around 1,000 cubic feet per hour.
In Nawabshah, a culprit was found using domestic gas connection to run commercial concern for power generation..

The SS and CGTO teams carried our raids in Larkana including Daud Dero, Qasim, Bahram, Ahmed Ali Meher, Radan Ali Meher as well as in Phool Bagh, Jacobabad where gas was being stolen either via clamps and rubber pipes.
